![]() ![]() ![]() This European technological breakthrough in skin care provides a refreshed and rejuvenated appearance for aging, blotchy, or sun-damaged skin. It can also improve a variety of skin conditions including active acne, old acne or chickenpox scars, as well as diminishing fine lines or wrinkles.
The machine has been designed for the Skin Specialist who is certified and highly qualified to carry out a wide range of treatments safely and effectively. This system is widely used in Europe and has recently received FDA clearance in the United States. Chemical peeling and manual dermabrasion are the traditional techniques for the treatment of skin abnormalities. There are restrictions and difficulties associated with these common procedures since they can be painful and rapid treatment is not always possible. Microdermabrasion is not painful and does not require pre-treatment or topical anesthesia. Microdermabrasion is performed with a jet of fine crystal which is vacuumed across the skin, removing the dead and damaged skin cells. Your Skin Specialist will advise you on the treatment and schedule most suitable for your particular skin condition, leaving you with blemish-free, smooth, soft, brighter and younger looking skin. Skin Peeling: The skin may feel tight as if exposed to the sun or wind for a while after treatment. Some skins may peel. Keep the skin well moisturized with the proper product as advised by your Skin Specialist. Redness and Swelling: The skin will appear slightly red from an hour to a few hours depending on your skin's sensitivity. Deeper treatment for scar tissue and stretch marks may result in redness and swelling for 2-3 days. Slight blood spotting may occur immediately after treatment. Healing time may take 3-4 days. Cleansing: Ensure that the area is kept clean and well moisturized. Ask your Skin Specialist about the appropriate products for your skin. Protection: Your fresh, newly exposed skin will be delicate. Protect it from the sun by using a moisturizing sun block. Your Skin Specialist will recommend the appropriate moisturizer and sun block products. Face: Keep the area as clean and dry as possible. Do not apply ordinary make up for 24 hours. Your Skin Specialist can recommend a nonallergenic and waterproof camouflage make-up if you must wear it. Avoid swimming for at least 2 weeks. Do not use sunbeds for at least 2 weeks. Body: Keep the area s clean and dry as possible. Do not apply make up to the area. Avoid swimming for at least 2 weeks. If the treated area is on the body, wear loose fitting clothing and allow air to the area whenever possible. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
